Sometimes we all have to sit back and think, I did the last couple of weeks and came to one conclusion: SL will always be a part of me, I will never ever leave it or LL has to kick my dangerous butt out of it... so I'm back, will not be in-world as much as I use to be cause RL comes first, always (did forget that the past 3 years).
Anyways, Lio is back and I'm gonna kick ass lol

This is goodbye for now... Lio will take a break from SL to think about her life. The last 3 years in SL were very intense, me and Jo did a lot, fight a lot, loved a lot, built a lot, explored a lot but somehow.. the last few weeks I don't feel the need to log on, maybe I'm bored or maybe it's the fact I should pick up my life in RL again.
Bottomline... I have some thinking to do next couple of weeks...so the blog will be quiet too...
I cannot say when or if I will be back, I can only say thank you to all the people here and in-world for having me as their friend.

Turned 18 in RL yesterday ...if you don't believe that I will tell you something else;-). Anyways I didn't really celebrated it though I did get some nice text messages and emails from friends and family:-))) and my mom came over with cake, yummy.
And when I logged on in SL last night I found this adorable cute bear in an airplane, I could not resist... I just had to sit on it and fly with it for a while (I do kinda look weird on it, lol).

Hmm, I'm not really in a bad mood now but Jo is. We don't have much luck these past days GRRRR...We work a lot in RL, so not much time to be on SL. Yesterday my internet connection broke, it took the internet guys 4 hours to fix it, so no SL for me yesterday. Today I was happy to log on cause all worked great but my Jo was in a bad mood pfff... his new monster machine crashed like hell today... so he logged off to fix it. No SL for me today either pffff.... please guys, send us some good luck ok:-) thx...

We are not aggressive people Jo and me, not at all but a couple of days ago we were on a Greek RP sim, kind of by accident. Jo decided he wanted to do some island hopping so we ended up in the RP sim. First we saw on map there was a lot of traffic so we followed the green dots and guess what, there was a fighting tournament going on, we sat there and watched them fight. We had a lot of fun cause the place was so laggy most fighters were cutting air instead of there opponent LOL.
Anyway the next day we went back there and O O there was a war going on in the desert between the Turks and Greeks (i think lol), that was really exciting to see and nooooo laggg. As you know Jo and me have weapons too but we did not get into the fight cause well Jo is good with his daggers but as for me, I'm a total disaster so I need practice first. But one day I will beat all!!!!;-)

Where was I? Well in RL a lot but also searching SL for the perfect dragon ava. About a year ago I told my Jo I wanted a dragon ava, we searched but could not find a good one, and also I was too chicken to change my ava LOL.
Anyhow, I have put my human ava in 1 folder and just bought this adult dragon at Aggro... Omg a lot to read, a lot to play around with. The dragons come with a complete HUD, they can totally be customized with the HUD, they have facial expressions, they have ehm... fire lol... they have a lot, well I have a few days off in RL:-)) So, in a few days (I read the manuals very slow), I will introduce you to Lio The Dragon:-)))

Our RL is so busy lately at weekdays, so it's almost impossible to go exploring or start my photography passion because that stuff does take time, time we lack off at the moment big time. But last night we did find time to dance (something we did not do for a while). We got all dressed up and Tped to the Titanic but OMG, LAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.... Then again we thought... we have a very nice beach with a bar and a barbecue, so we got back home and danced for a while before going to bed, it was soooooo romantic, I love you honey:-)

Why this title, well... Jo and I love to go Gorean or medieval places dressed up as hunters, him with his crossbow and daggers and me with my Legolas long bow, lol (yeh I am a fan of The Lord of the Rings). Last night we visited a medieval place called 'Tir na Latis', and all was fine. We read the rules and we were good visitors, we were just exploring the sim...

and it was really a very nice sim, we had some medieval food along the way:-)

I took the occasion to sit at this medieval desk to write my hubby a loveletter with a feather;-)

but then it kinda turned, we felt we were watched but we didn't do anything wrong so we kept on wandering the sim and at some point we were at hmm..how to say, some kind of gathering circle with some medieval danceballs... knowing me I always try balls when I see one lol
While we were dancing some Lady was watching us from this bridge and next moment an arrow flew just a few inches from Jo' s face OMG!!!
It was a message arrow, we opened the message and bottomline it said we were not very welcome pffff
Why are the gorean or medieval people so afraid of harmless newcomers???

But still we had fun and this will not stop us from visiting these beautiful sims, cause most are very well built:-)
So Gorean and medievals, we are truely harmless;-)

My feeling about all this is if I was a slave and Jo a Master we would not encounter so many problems entering Gor/Medieval, but too bad... I'm not a slave, I'm a hunter;-)

ok ok, I know I am bombing ya all with hotspots but I did mention before I want to go back to my first love 'photography'. So what I have started since a day or two is explore a lot of places that are nice to take pictures without using photoshop (or with a little photoshop). Last night just before going to bed we discovered 'Roan'. It's very blue:-) but so nice to take real good pictures, but unfortunately it was bedtime for us... maybe I go back tonight or in the weekend to play around with the environment editor and stuff:-)

Why do you need to visit Retropolis? Well, if you like pirateships, if you like pirateships that move, if you like seamonsters then you must visit this place. We went there and the ship actually moves like it is in very big storm and if you click on one of the lamps the 'seamonster' appears. This place is really cool but don't stay too long, after a while you get seasick in RL lol

Sitting at the bar after the party we were like talking 'friends'.
I have a question on the blog. Who are your friends, is it your friends list?
I had this housewarming and I did a group Jo/Lio friends to get em all here, put in my closest friends in it, sent out notices but guess what... only 2 came LOL
So my question, what is the point of a friends list? My list is very long (and I did clean up some months ago), but seems all the people in are fake friends yes?
So I guess I will clean up some more and only 2 will be on it.
This said and done I'm very disappointed in many people here, it's time for me to go out there and make new 'friends', or just stay with my Jo and have fun with him (cause he is the one I do have fun with not with 'friend's).
Happy Easter... I give all my 'friends' a chocolate easter egg and hope they choke on it;-)

'Happy Mood' does really bring you into a happy mood. It's a very cute little place with birds singing and bunnies hopping around and of course some poseballs:-))

But chasing bunnies and trying to catch some birds made me feel very sleepy... I spotted this tree with a poseball and took a nap:-))
Btw, the poseball is so funny, it does actually let you fall asleep like when you sit behind your screen and your head bows and then something wakes you up again, its so funny I bought myself one (yes they are for sale for 100L and copy) for our place:-)

Resident Evil!!

I heard 'Resident Evil' is an online game and also a movie... I have never played a combat game but last night I found out there is a 'Resident Evil' in SL too. So Jo got his crossbow and I bought myself a machine gun. But before we went there for killing some zombies we had to test our weapons...

OMG HONEY! you shot our bar??!!! OMG now its on fire GRRRR... what did that thing ever do to you?? lol

Okay, I'm so totally ready for this, c'mon you freaking zombies, approach if you dare..

Ehm, maybe I'm not so ready, they like killed me 10 times in a row GRRRR, and Jo was only killed once by a stupid freaking Rottweiler...
Guess I need some practice because it was really fun playing this;-)

First Love!

I have changed a lot in my SL over the past months, sold all my land, left the stage, bought a homestead... we worked on it and its almost finished. Jo will begin building yachts again, so he will be busy in SL so I was thinking today a lot about my SL. The past few months it was all about getting our sim how we wanted it to be but that is almost finished... so what will I do after?
I'm not a builder, never was and never will be, I did a kitchen once and to my surprise sold it but it was a pain from the beginning. The SL building is just not in me, so I was thinking.. while my hubby is working what shall I do in sl?
And it struck me... my first love, photography... I had a gallery once (not a big success lol), but it was fun doing it:-)
I love exploring the grid, I love taking pictures, I love blogging, I love photoshop (sometimes), so the decision is made:-)
I go back to my first love... photography and if I get really really really good at it I might open my gallery again. So wish me luck;-)

Ok this is the thing... I'm married to a very competitive man GRRR... tonight he wanted to go back duck racing OMG (think I will throw a yellow duck at Alicia's head some day lol). We raced against each other (see the aggression on our faces at the start), but he won...again, GRRRR..
He was fast but not as fast as Gospel Voom Yessss....hmm, got an idea.
Alicia and fellow bloggers organize bloggers meetings at regular basis, why not meet at duck race and race against each other, the winner gets to throw a duck at Alicia and after that party at my place;-)

Jo bought a new monster machine, window 7 64 bit professional, sl viewer 1.23.5, graphic card: nvidia gtx 280m.. he got a monster machine, thing is... if he connects his external screen this is the result (see pictures), my question to my fellow bloggers is... HELP!!! LOL
(if he is on notebook screen all is good, if he switches external screen I see him like this). I want my man back:-)

Yesterday Jo got his new notebook so we can finally go exploring again (for him it was awful to explore the past months, nothing loaded), but now we can again YES!!!!
So I found this place in showcase 'Minute Papillion', it is really nice to wander through the sim. I felt a bit like a 1960's farmgirl. There are some pose balls, not so much, but its a great sim for taking nice pictures. Enjoy!

Ok, this really pisses me off big time. I read some blogs today and found out there was a happening in SL, namely Clothing Fair 2010. Since I do need some new summer dresses I thought what better place to go then a clothing fair. I took the SLurl and tp'ed over. All f**cking hell broke loose when I got there. HELL like in LAG!!! I stood there with many others for like 15 minutes and still nothing was loading PFFFF...
After those 15 minutes I just went home empty handed, guess I will just go to my favourate shops for my summer dresses. But I am really pissed off now, sorry...

I knew this would happen. I guess you all remember we had a castle once, it was a big one and lots of spots to sit on. But we always sat on one special wall to chat, discuss, share thoughts and ideas.
We have our sim now for some time and as you have noticed it is a tropical sim, so a castle wall doesn't really fit the place, but last night Jo couldn't control himself anymore and he rezzed the magical wall at our beach OMG!!! I must confess though... I missed that wall too:-)))

Yeh, I can honestly say that I'm happy now in both worlds. I had some bad times not so long ago, depression stuff pff. I got some professional help and I made some changes in my RL life, one of the major things I changes was my job. I'm a single mom with two teenagers (girls) and a fulltime job... I guess, no I know at some point it was too much. So a month ago I made the decision to work less in RL, meaning 4 days a week instead of 5. Yes I loose money, but I did ask myself the question: 'What makes me happy? Money? Or spend more time with my kids and my house and my cats and my garden?' The decision was made pretty fast:-)
I also made some changes in my SL life (but guess you all have noticed that). No stage, no rentals (it was all too much too). So I asked myself the same question about my SL. Make money or just be happy. That decision was made pretty fast too:-)
I feel now very relaxed and happy in both worlds, finally:-)

Sometimes I do miss my stage... somehow I missed it badly last night so Jo (he is so sweet) gave me some of his fav bands on youtube to listen. I played them while I was online and started to dance at our beach. Must say our taste in music is very similar:-) Maybe some day I will get my stage back, I guess it's some kind of bug I just can't loose. Enjoy the music:-))

Since we have a lot of water on our sim we might as well get us some watersports stuff. So the other day Jo bought a surboard, that thing is so great, very realistic but grrrr... its not trans so he can't set it to group means I can't use it pfff... I was thinking of buying one too but then we saw the jetski with waterskies, so now I'm not sure, do I get a surfboard or do I get the jetski or do I get both??? Those are the kind of 'problems' we deal with lately LOL.

We figured if we can afford a sim we surely must be able to afford a new bed. Jo has about 1000 beds in his invent (before he met me he collected them, don't ask me why lol), but none of them fitted our house. So we had to go shopping for our dreambed YESSS!!! And this is it, it's a Superbed, it comes with I have no idea how many animations (we will need a lifetime to try them all), but what I like most is, it also comes with objects (yehyeh, I know what you are thinking now and yes those objects are in it too, lol). Anyway, it comes with books, a notebook, a mirror to redo my hair after ehm...sleeping, even a pot with oil when we need a massage, but what I like most is the little teddybear:-))). I will never feel alone in my bed anymore when Jo is not around. I will look up the creator later and put his/her name on the blog so you can go see the bedshop for yourself. Enjoy trying beds!!!:-)

Last night we said goodbye to Jo's Yachtshop... it was again hard, especially for him, he had this shop for a long time. But we still think we made the right decision... and his yachts are still for sale on xstreet "JMC YACHTS".

Yes yes yes finally our sim, well to be honest we are waiting for our homestead with 3750 prims (oh my and I'm such a primeater lol). Anyway I'm so so so excited, we will make it again beautiful and cosy and tropical and ..... so much more but with less prims but f****ng a lot cheaper!!!
But in the mean time we have put up our tent and some logs at Jo's Shipyard (we need to sleep and redress somewhere don't we?)

Some explanation is needed here I think. I guess the economic crisis got to me and Jo too. We owned a lot of land, our home, the stage, my rentals, his yachtshop... it costed us a fortune every month. And not only that, but also the stress of finding artists for my stage, pay them a lot which I loved because I like to make people happy but at some point my creditcard gave me that very ugly look... Jo stressed out with his yachtshop (he still will sell yachts but on xstreet). We had a very long talk and we decided to get rid of everything, just be homeless again... for a while;-)
So yesterday everything was gone, we were flying around at what used to be our home and we spotted something in the ocean... Jo's dozer LOL, we could not resist... who the hell needs a boat when you have a dozer:-)))

Thank you Lollo for again an amazing show, and I also want to thank everyone who came. This was also the last show on stage, yes you read right... the stage will close down (time for something new), maybe someday I start it again but for now I'm done with it. It was an amazing time, I got to meet nice people and I had so much fun with it but like I said... time for something new. Again I want to thank all the artists that played on Stage Lionheart and all the people who came to my shows.

Neko Lio, I like the sound of that LOL. Not sure if Jo likes this but well he will have to live with it... at least for a while until I find a new species to turn into. I always liked Nekos, I like elves,I even like the dark elves (forgot there name grrr), I like furries, vampires I'm not sure about... but I guess i will find out sooner or later;-) For now its Neko Lio... one thing if you might bump into me, DON'T touch the TAIL!!!

Found this t-shirt some time ago, not sure what shop, I visit so much shops I totally forgot pfff..
it's kind of aggressive so I bought it cause there is some aggression in me (my dark side), ask my husband LOL.

Lollo String has an amazing voice, sweet, gentle and deep at the same time.
He will entertain your SL moments with incredible performances; his voice can fluctuate through a huge variety of genres like rock, jazz, blues, folk and pop.
Sting, Sinatra, Springsteen, Buckley, Bono, Bublè, James Taylor, Paul McCartney, Elvis are just a few of the singers performed by Lollo in his SL. To be at a show of Lollo String means to be captured not only by the music, but also by a visual show of lights and particles.

Oh my, I think I'm not really following the rules with this 365 thing. But honestly I could not, I started to work in RL again after 2 months, pfff... and I'm tired at night. I come home, cook dinner for me and my kids, login to SL for about an hour to see my sweet man and then bed (not even the energy to work out). Not very interesting hé:-)
Well I hope I get my routine back soon but for now I have to bend the rules a bit with the 365. Don't shoot me!!!!

My man is a musician in RL, he knows a lot about music. Tonight we were talking about music, what it means to us, what we like, what instruments we like, all kinds of stuff. He is a guitar man, I never heard him play but in my mind he sounds great, he got the passion for music.
I think many of us got a passion for music and many of us can't express it on a instrument so the people who can express there feeling on an instrument I truely admire and yes I am even jealous.
Music for me is something that has been a how to say 'lifeline', yes that is the word.. if I feel sad I need music, if I feel happy I need music, if I'm confused I need music. Music is something I totally need in my life RL and SL (why do you think I started a stage lol).
Anyhow, tonight me and my husband were talking music like hell and at some point we started to tell our favourate instruments. Of course his is guitar... and well to be honest guitar is my favourate too next to saxophone. But then I got on youtube;-).. I love the flute too:-)
So bloggers, tell me your favourate instrument and maybe put in a youtube video in it or record yourself playing your favourate instrument:-)
Did I just start a challenge?? Nah... just curious about what music does for people:-)

OK here is what I need for the first show at Stage Lionheart:
4 female dancers to back up live artist Raven Kondor (more details about him will follow). The dancers do NOT need to be experienced because I work with a chimera or choreographer Katharina. The show lasts about one hour and the fee for the dancers is 200L$ each.
The show is on Stage Lionheart on January 9th at 2pm SLT.
So are you looking to have fun, you like to be on Stage once in your life:-), work with one of the best live artists in SL and even earn some Lindens.. Please contact me in-world:-)))

Christmas in RL and SL:-)

I spent Christmas eve in RL at my moms place and it was really nice. Christmas day I spent in RL at home with my kids, I cooked us a nice dinner, we watched a movie.. And later I found some time to kiss my sweet man under the mistletoe and hug my best friends Iemie and Gixxxer in SL:-)
I was not really in the mood for the whole Christmas stuff but looking back I had a great time RL and SL. I love you my RL family and I love all my SL friends:-)
And I love you Jo, superkiss:-)

Yesterday we felt like exploring again so I looked at some hotspots and there are so many new ones like this one: Great Wall of China. Really a must see, very nice built and great to take pictures but...

BEWARE OF THE WHEREWOLF!!! He tried to bite me grrrr... so if you visit the Great Wall of China bring a silver bullet;-)

Oh my...ok I skipped a few days of the 365 but I was so sick in RL I could not even log on to SL pffff.. But I feel much better now, finally, so first thing I did this morning was log on cause I missed my man and SL so much. Unfortunately Jo was not on but I left him a message:-), next I did was go to see my horses, I missed them too... So good to be back!!

Ok, this is not a self portret but this is me... Jo built this castle about two and a half year ago, it all started with buying land, then planning. First he built me a small house but then I said one day I would like to have a castle... and he started to build and build and build. Then he went on a 3 week RL vacation. He told me: ok honey here is your castle, now you have to texture it. He left sl for 3 weeks and i started texturing like hell, lol. By the time he got back the castle was textured and furnished.
Last night I left SL early because I didn't feel so well, Jo said he would go off too, so we kissed and I went to bed. This morning I checked my email and there was an inventory offer from Jo. I'm always very curious when i get an inventory offer so I went online straight away and found a picture of my castle. Jo didn't go offline last night, nono he worked on the castle again because the only thing that was missing in this wintertime was snowy rooftops... and look now, my sweet husband worked hard last night and this is the result:-)))
After almost 3 years he still finds some way to surprise me:-) Thank you honey, my castle looks now perfect!!!
So no selfportret this time, but a portret of my home where I spend a lot of SL time with my sweet husband:-)
