Official Opening LOST!!

The homeless shelter is open but Jo and I decided to do it a bit more official. So yesterday I met RL/SL artist Raven Kondor. He was so exited by this homeless shelter idea he wanted to contribute, so he is giving a one hour show to officially open LOST (NOT at the stage but outside the shelter) !!! Thx so much Raven:-))
Here is what he says about himself:

"After many years of singing in bands, hiding behind my drums, I took a big a leap forward and started singing without them. And I love it! I am an Entertainer in “Second Life”... absolutely the most incredible and creative experience available on the internet. The audience is real... the excitement and feeling of performing live is every bit as rewarding as doing “Real Life” shows. The songs I cover are tunes made famous by Neil Diamond and Elvis along with Classic Rock from The Doors, Steppenwolf, Jethro Tull, INXS and other great artists."

So I hope to see you all at LOST on Saturday 14th at 1pm slt

LOST

LOST is the name of our homeless shelter. Many newborn residents do not have a home in Second Life so Jo and I decided to build one for those lost souls. Many newborn residents start their Second Life in very crowded places and do not have the privacy to edit their appearances or change clothes, they have to do it in public, I can tell that is not a very nice experience;-)
LOST gives newbies a place of privacy where they can sit, take a nap on one of our beds, use a ball for the first time, edit their appearances, changes clothes and get freebie items on one of our vendors like shoes, clothes, jewelry, etc...
Ofcourse SL veterans are also very welcome to come here and check it out;-)
And last but not least its also a try to make people aware of the hudge problem of homeless people in Real life all over the World.
This is our little contribution to make people think about that problem:-)
Hope you enjoy!!!

Ideas coming in.....

Someone called me a workaholic once, I guess I am a bit in real life but also in Second Life, I can't sit still and I found the perfect partner in crime, my sweet husband. So yesterday the studios were finished and we sat outside and started to talk, and ideas were coming in so fast.
We are gonna start again a new project but this time not for us, this time we will do something for the less fortunate residents in Second Life.
I will tell you a lot more about it when we have finished this one:-)
