RAZZIA at stage and the event didn't even started yet.. OMG!! They told me I didn't have the right papers for my stage, heck!!! What do I know about papers?? I only care for great music... but hey.. I could bribe them with a barbeque;-) . The police is your friend;-)

Hot Spot alert!

We started exploring again after all the hard work on the stage and oh.. that feels so good. I almost forgot SL has really some beautiful places to visit.
This one is a must do.. the name of the place is not a very good choice, my opinion, because it's not really suitable if you compare it with place in the real world but ok..
If you feel like exploring but not sure where to go well visit the Third World! Have fun!

Opening new Stage!!! Friday, October 30th!!

First on stage is the best SL ABBA tribute band ever... You just can't miss them, they are sooooo great:-) They kick off the opening at 2pm slt (23:00cet).

Next on stage this guy, WOW!!! He is just amazing, I saw him in action a couple of times now and I can't get enough of him and I am very proud to welcome him once again at my Stage:-)

Surreal video clip...

I love Katie Melua, I posted this more because of the clip than because of the song (although I love this song). It made me think of me, my real me walking around in a virtual world called SL;-)

Thinking about SL...

I do that not so much but I did today. And this is not the first post on a blog about this topic. I guess a lot of us do think about SL and RL and trying to figure out why we spend so much of our time in this virtual world.
Some say it's a game like any other online game, some say it's an extension of their RL..
For me it's definitely not a 'game', and not even an extension of my RL, for me SL is what it sais.. a Second Life and I love it, and I will spend time in SL as much as I can and I don't care if my RL family or friends don't 'understand', they love me anyways and I love them.
But why do we spend so much time here? Well, let me quote a friend, he gave me the answer in just one sentence...
"maybe because sl strips out all of the clutter in life --no commute, no dishes to do, no government forms to fill out-- we get to focus on our feelings"
For me that sais it all;-)

Okay... time for us to explore again after all this work. Last night we went to a gorean place again after all this time. Jo was walking ahead of me so he missed this little funny thing. I'm not sure what they should do, build a bigger house or get a smaller dragon, lol.

And later that night Gixxxer came by with his new hot dog cart LOL... so we had a little celebration with coca cola and delicious hot dogs, thx Gixxxer... be here on October 30th, I bet a lot of people here would love a coca cola and a hot dog while enjoying the concert:-))

Resting....

Phew... It's done, the stage is finally finished, so we were allowed to sit down and rest and talk..
By the way, opening is on October 30th, the artists are booked but I will blog all the details later;-)

One Two Three Testing Testing..

Yesterday we did the lights and of course the soundchecking, Jo and Gixxxer had so much fun doing it, me too by the way lol
So today the final touches and the stage is finally finished, time for me to run around in SL to book me some great live artists YAY.. all suggestions are welcome:-)))

Ok I love Michael like hell, was a fan of him when he started (yeh i'm not so young anymore lol), but I stole this from Gixxxer's blog, just too funny and guys check out his blog, there is more stuff on it:-)

My man is just awesome. He is a great builder, he has the best ideas, he almost did everything at the new stage place. I just want him next to me all the time because I would be so lost without him. I need you..

Bots, bots, bots.. I see bots everywhere GRRRR

Okay.. It's nice to have traffic at your mall, shop, club, stage, event... but do it the honest way and not plant bots all over the place just to boost traffic. It's very annoying for your neighbours because bots cause a lot of lag GRRRRR..
This is taken at my neighbours place.. one day we looked map and there was 60 people there. We could not believe because we didn't see people until my sweet man flew up. They were all sitting in the skybox.
So I had a problem because I just can't have so much lag if I do an event. We Imed our landlord and well he is in discussion now with LL (bots, campers are forbidden), but as you all might know, discussing with LL can take a while.
At this point all we and our landlord can do is restart the sim before I will do an event. Thing is, the bots are back in no time.. I just hope LL will track them down before I open the stage GRRR..

Poor people

I just found this picture in my invent (yeh, I was cleaning my mess pfff). This has been taken a while ago and I don't even remember where but when I saw him going through the garbage it kind off hit me. It reminded me of all the people in RL who have to go through garbage everyday to survive.
We all have our bad days, our misfortune, we all complain about something but we all should remember there are a lot of people who are less fortunate then the most of us.
So if I have a bad day or everything goes wrong at the same time I will open my blog and look at this guy, just to remind me...
