How to get age verified??

Some people don't really know how to get age verified, so my husband and I surfed a bit around on the net, and these are some ways to do it:

*Have or add payment information on file with Linden Lab.
*Go through the Adult Verification process on SL homepage.
*Add US$ to their XStreet account using a verified PayPal account or credit card.

Linden Lab added the "Adult" rating to the previous "Mature" and "PG" ratings.

Q: If I have Adult content, do I have to move to the new Adult mainland continent?
A: No. Only mainland residents with Adult content are required to move.

Q : Will this keep minors off of the SL adult grid?
A: No. Any minor with access to a credit card or their parent's ID can access SL.

Q: If this won't keep minors out, why is LL doing this?
A: To prevent people from being exposed to Adult content unexpectedly.

Q: Will the Adult rating prevent people from being exposed to Adult content unexpectedly?
A: Not entirely. If they are clever enough to check the sim rating prior to entry, then yes. The` client software does not allow a user to block their own access to an Adult region if they are verified. A check box under Preferences labeled "Block access to Adult regions" would be useful.

Q: If this won't keep minors off the adult grid and won't prevent verified accounts (who don’t check the sim rating prior to entry from accessing Adult content), why is LL doing this?
A: No f***ng idea!

Q: What elements require a region to be rated Adult?
A: Per Linden Lab:
* Representations of intensely violent acts, whether or not photo-realistic (for example, depicting death, torture, dismemberment or other severe bodily harm)
* Photo-realistic nudity; photo-realistic means that an image either is or cannot be distinguished from a photograph
* Expressly sexually themed content, spaces or activities (whether or not photo-realistic); we will broadly define what is "sexually themed" to include any sexually oriented activities and conduct.
NOTE: This refers to PUBLIC content. A sex bed in the privacy of your SL home does not require an Adult rated region. A sex bed in a shop that is not enabled for on the spot "test rides" may not require an Adult rated region, if the advertising language and/or images are not graphic. A sex bed in a shop enabled for consumer demos requires an Adult rated region.

Q: Only a few of the items in my shop/club fit the adult classification; what should I do?
A: Determine how big a role the Adult items play in your business. Will your business be affected more by removal of the Adult items or restriction of your customer base?

Q: I have a skin shop. Do I need to be on in an Adult region?
A: No, unless your skin displays are in graphic sexual poses or are clearly sexually aroused. To avoid problems, do not use skin displays with genitals.

Q: My skins show female breasts with nipples. Do I need to be on in an Adult region?
A: Same answer; no, unless your skin displays are in graphic sexual poses or are clearly sexually aroused. (NOTE: Breasts are NOT genitals. Their primary function in nature is for the nursing of the young of the species. The fact that some people find them sexually arousing does not make them sexual in nature. People in SL who find the non-photo-realistic breasts on skin displays disturbing can find any number of other places on the internet to go to and be "disturbed".)

Q: When does this all come to pass?
A: LL's target date for full implementation appears to be "mid-August". We intend to have our Sims correctly classified no later than August 1.

Growing up...

My little ones are getting big, Lisa and Maggie grow like hell and also eat like hell... O I wish I could breed too like almost everybody is doing but I can't pffff.... Our sim owner won't let me cause he had probs with other sims who have lot's of chickens running around. So guess I will love and take care of my Lisa and Maggie, they will never have babies but at least they got each other and me:-))

Introducing..

Last night Eskimo came online, he rents with me, so I had to introduce him to his new neighbour Swa, he rents with me too. So my husband and I went over there and introduced the guys to each other, but...

As the hours past by they got crazier and crazier LOOOOL, they really liked each other..

ehm they realy realy liked each other OMG, it got very intense so Jo and me left them very discretely....I wonder what Cindy will think about this if she founds out about Eski... don't wanna be near her if she does, LOOOL

When I'm sad I must shop, grrr...Last night my husband told me he needed some new shirts so we went shopping to one of his favourate shops and ofcourse.. he bought a shirt and I bought a shirt, pants and something I really wanted for a long time, Sneakers yeeehawwww, and they fit perfect:-)))

Michael Jackson, he was always the target of the media, good or bad, lately bad, but I never stopped loving him, I love his music, his dances, his creativity.. I know people saw him as a freak, I never did, I was a true fan.. today he died, he left us.. again a big loss for the world. He was the king of pop and an inspiration for lots of artists. You all can say what you want but I loved this guy a lot and im sad he left this world. Enjoy his moonwalk..

First I read Chesnut Rau blog, I left a comment there... but seems that was not the only death that would happen today.. In Belgium, Flanders we had this great singer Yasmine, she took her life cause of love problems, ok never knew her in person but she is a big loss to the community.
While I was walking in SL I got other news... Farrah Fawcett died, she was an actrice, not my favourate, but one of my youth...it seems like 25th of June 2009 will be the saddest day in all time, cause this is not the final... those two people I never knew in person, not even the woman chesnut was talking about today, but we loose people...day after day, and we must find a way to deal with it..

Some people are so GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I'm a bit pissed off about some things that happened to me in SL. I own land for my stage and for the shelter on the same sim. About a week ago I got an Im from my new neighbour (I will name the neighbour X here) telling me to shutt down the noise of my truck at the shelter. Ok that was stupid of me to let it horn all over the sim, pff.. so I went there very fast and fixed that problem.

The day after another Im from X asking me if I was interested in selling my land.
I said thank you for being interested but no, I have no intention of selling my land.

The day after again an Im from X asking me again if I wanted to sell my land for a lot of money (I tell you it was a lot X offered), but again I said very friendly NO. I tell X I have my stage there and people have LMed the place and know the stage also the shelter.

The day after ..yes again Im telling me it's easy to create an LM elsewhere and seems like I don't have much traffic anyway..OMG what nerve X got. Ofcourse there is no traffic when there is no event going on DUHHH.. Finally I told X to leave me alone, I don't sell my land period!
After that X started to threaten me with the LL age verification thing. X told me she/he will put the land to adult, so I won't be able to enter if I'm not age verified.
What arrogance!!! X don't even own the sim only a lot of parcels on it. But even so, X got me a little scared, I talked to my husband about this and he told me X is just full of crap.
Anyways, I don't understand people who don't take NO for an answer!!!!

Learning!!

It's Sundayafternoon, the whether is not so good and while I'm waiting for my husband I started to read some blogs LOL. I stumbled into Banana Vella's blog, and was reading about the environment editor. OK, I know this, but I always used the presets, but this afternoon I played around a bit with the settings, and o man, this is sooooooo cool. You can take pictures without even have to photoshop them (cause I still hate that thing lol). I still have to learn and play with it more, but here are some of my Sundayafternoon try-outs :-)))

He is coming back!!!!

Today is the day my husband comes back from a very relaxing vacation in RL. He had internet, and we did meet these past two weeks, but not everyday and when we did always short, just to say 'I love you' and kiss and telling what we did that day and then poofff he was gone again. I did understand cause he was on RL vacation with family. But today he is back and I can't wait to kiss, cuddle, talk, build, explore and so on with him:-)
So now I'm waiting for him...

Midsummer Eve in Second Sweden! WOOOOT!

Wow, Swedish people sure now how to party. I had a great time last night at this event organised by my best friends Ewa and Jesper and ofcourse not to forget the very talented Tina.
I went there, got me the national dress and threw myself into the party like hell. I had no idea what they all were talking about, they chatted in Swedish, but I didn't care LOOOOL, later that night I invited my sis Lieke and my friend Swa (both Belgium), so I finally could talk in my own language:-)

In modern Sweden, Midsummer's Eve is celebrated on the second to last Friday and in June. It is arguably the most important holiday of the year, and one of the most uniquely Swedish in the way it is celebrated, even if it has been influenced by other countries long ago. The main celebrations take place on the Friday, and the traditional events include raising and dancing around a huge maypole. One typical dance is the frog dance. Before the maypole is raised, greens and flowers are collected and used to cover the entire pole.
Sounds a bit odd huh? Well it is very odd indeed and now you got the chance to celebrate this in Second Life. Right now, in front of the SecondHouse of Sweden a little traditional Swedish outdoor dance floor being built, a maypole is going to be raised, market booths going to be out placed…and much more.

BBBC 2009 Final Topic!!

What did you get out of your experience? Do you think it will change the way you blog in the future?

What did I get? Well, first off all a lot of fun with it, trying to follow the topics:-) Second, I got to learn a lot more SL blogs then I knew before and not met yet, but got to know a lot of people and their lives in SL. Third, I have learned some technical stuff about SL, some new places to go. Fourth, I f**ing read a lot lately, LOL. Fifth, now I have the feeling people read my blog too, never had that before, and that is a great feeling:-))

Will it change the way I blog. No, I just will keep on telling here about my adventures in SL. That was and still is what my blog is for. But I might comment more on other blogs then I did before:-)

Wondering when next challenge comes up, maybe I think about one myself;-)

Skin, shape, shape, skin!! (BBBC 2009)

Alicia gave us no particular topic for today's BBBC, just write about what you want.

So hmm, I tell you about what I did last night. It took me about a year until I got my skin, I mean a nice skin. I wear it now since a couple of months and I'm very happy with it. But since I stopped being a chicken and be a little more brave I thought why not go get another skin and SHAPE!!
So I went shopping, bought the demo for the skin/shape I wanted and went home to try it on.
OMG, the skin looks ok to me but o o o the shape, I was like, how shall I put this without being rude, well let's say I met myself in SL about a thousand times before. O man...

So, I put back on my own shape, my own skin, and God I felt great. I think no more new shapes for me. I love the one I have, it's the free one when you first log into SL, but I have put a lot of work on it to make it look like it is now. And, above all, it's ME:-))

BBBC 2009: Topic No. 4

If there was someone you could trade places with for one day in Second Life, who would it be and why? Bonus points if you find this person and snap a picture with them!!

Well, this is funny, I think about a week ago I was shopping in SL with my little sis Lieke, she wanted the hair with hat I got, so I tped her to the shop. But once she got that hair it didn't fit right, I told her to wear another bold or to resize her head, but seems like she was struggling with it very bad. She got so fed up with it she asked me to log in as her to fix the hair. And.. I did, I was my little sis for about 10 minutes, I must say, that is a very strange experience LOOOOL
Anyways, last week she got into RP big time, I never was or is it's just not my thing. But she told me she's a vampire, and she takes souls and drinks blood, she even got a special hud for it, OMG. So if I want to trade places with someone for one day it would be with her, only to find out how it is like to be a vampire [Lionesse shows her fangs]

BBBC 2009: Topic No.3!

You've been given a sim of your very own to use for free for one year. However, there are 3 rules. It cannot be residential, it cannot be commercial, and it has to be open to the public. What do you do with it?

Hmm, I have a dream...

That dream a have partialy realized in SL with my husband. We have the stage where I organize events with live or non-live artists (I do that completely for free, It's for people who wanna listen to great music and above all have a great time). I own LOST, LOST is, lets say a shelter for the homeless in SL or newcomers, it contains lots of freebee stuff, like clothes, hair, skins, shoes, you name it LOST got it, and also some tips to start off your SL adventure in a nice way.
Apart from that we own our private place, but next to that we have created a forrest, a place where people can sit at the campfire, or relax in our cave, or watch the animals we have running around there, birds, beavers, deer, a wolf and so on...
So if I owned a sim I would pretty much do the same as I have done now only bigger, a bigger stage, a bigger shelter where I would be able to help the newcomers more intensively, I would build houses for people who don't have money to buy or rent, just to give them a place where they can hangout, redress, relax, invite new friends and so on.. Besides that I would build a bigger forrest with more animals:-) I just loooooove animals;-)

BBBC 2009: Topic No. 2!

So Topic No. 2: Describe how your perfect SL day looks like?

I had kind off a perfect day yesterday:-) First of all, like I said earlier my SL husband is on vacation but he has internet in France, I only never know if or when he will be on. Yesterday afternoon I logged on and he came on like 2 seconds later, guess we smell it, looool
Next I bought the perfect coop for Lisa and Maggie:-) After that I put my land for rent and put down the mediterrean house on it Jo and me built, looked perfect!
After that some friends started to IM, so I sat down at our terras and took the time to listen and talk to them. Then I went to a place where for me I took the perfect pictures, will post those later here and on flickr.
After all this I went to bed in a very good mood, despite I had to get up early to get to work;-)
So bottom line, the little stuff that happens to me in SL makes my SL day perfect:-))

BBBC 2009!!

The Big Bad Blogger Challenge 2009 has started. I missed it last year but I sure not will miss it this year:-) So Alicia Chenaux has put 2 questions on her blog to kick off this challenge. I'm blogging since I guess early 2008, I was already a year in SL at that time. My best SL friend Jesper Prinz had a blog then and I read it every day. Was so much fun to read his blog I thought by myself, Lio you can do that too. I'm not really a writer, but I thought it would be great to share my SL adventures with others. So I started my own blog, I almost post everyday about what I have seen in SL, or what I have done, or what event will come next, but during all the time I have been blogging I catch myself that it's not always about SL I post, but sometimes even about how I feel RL that day. Blogging for me is also some kind of way to write off RL stuff that's spinning around in my head. Blogging is better then going to a psychiatrist and much more cheaper, trust me!!! LOL

BRB Exhibition!!!

The BRB exhibition was a great success, I got to meet the SL bloggers in-world, that was sooo great. But I like to thank Marnix Malifozik, cause he started the tastefull naked butt challenge:-) 40 people had entered pictures of there butts, was crazy lol. People come, people go, people come back..

This was or still is a strange week for me in SL (week is not over yet). First my Jo left on vacation not sure if I would see him for 2 weeks, so me waiting and guess what? He has internet in France, so I see him but not so often as usual, because he is on vacation with family. But my heart jumped out of my body when I saw him online, I really miss him when he is not on. Hmm what happened next? O yes, the chickenmadness looool, but Maggie and Lisa are very happy, they eat well, go to sleep on time and make lots of chickennoise when I'm around loool. Then some French guy was on my land telling me he was new but I got doubts about that. He looked really not sooooo like a noob, he had an AO and that after 2 days?? He was asking me strange stuff like 'are you a woman?'..duhhhh.. and 'how old are you', omg.. was I married or single, pffff..
Anyways, it's really strange... people never came to our land before and now everyday there is someone.. Just now when I'm blogging, GRRR. Some dude with loud music just stood here in my chicken pen, I asked him friendly to leave my property pffff, he did thank god. I don't mind people coming here but not the crazy ones with loud music and scaring me and my chickens, GRRR.. But ok, I was telling about my week so far, lol
I went online and got an IM from Danae. Danae, I know her in SL for more than 2 years and she left me a message. She is leaving SL. She met a man in RL and is going to start a new life. She told me she will miss me and I was a good friend to her these past 2 years..she left me her email, so we still can keep contact, and that is good. Danae hun I will miss you like hell.
But yesterday something amazing happened. Elrond, a man I met in my early SL days. A sweet man, at that time he was in SL together with his RL wife, I met them both here and we clicked really well. But at some point (must have been almost 2 years ago), they both left SL. Just like that, never saw them again.
Last night I checked my friendslist and guess what, Elrond was on WOW... We talked and talked, had to learn him stuff again cause he forgot a lot. Later that night my sis Lieke joined us, we went bike riding and after that we all went for a coffee in Barcelona. Was a great night and welcome back Elrond:-))
See people come, people go but people also come back and therefor I never ever clean my friendslist again:-)))

Chicken crazyness!!!!!!

Thx alot Alicia and Marnix, got the chickenbug big time. I came on about an hour ago and looked at Lisa and pfff she looked so lonely so I rushed of to the chicken store to get her a friend OMG.. so now again I am waiting for next egg to hatch, Looool
But through all this I met a new friend who helped me big time with this new adventure, Zinbaco Kattun owns a whole chickenfarm. I went at her place and really she got many and still is breeding with them. I want to thank her big time for all her help, thx so much Zinbaco. If you ever have the chance check out her chickenfarm. I'm not a very patient person but last night I waited and waited and finally she broke out of her egg. Meet Lisa, I'm very proud of her and she is sleeping now:-). She was so tired when I logged on;-)

Yessss!!! My egg is back!!!

I met my landlord today and had a talk about chickens, loool... Seems last night lag was on another sim with lots of little chickens that caused multiple collision amongst them. So that was the cause of the sim lag, restarting the sim didn't help, so the chicken owner had to kill all the chickens pffff... But guess one little chicken won't harm a total sim and my landlord wanted to know how these work exactly, so.... my little egg is back:-))))) Now I just sit and wait, loool

OMG... can a little egg cause so much trouble??!!

Many SLers have these cute chickens, so I went to the chicken shop and got my own sionegg and waited to come out, but was getting late so I went to bed. This morning first thing I did was logging into SL to see if the chicken had come out of the egg yet, but instead of a chicken I got a blue message from my landlords manager. She told in her message the sionchickens cause very much lag on the region, people could not rezz their stuff and so on.... So only thing I could do is take my egg back in invent, sniffff :-( But is this true? Can a little egg or chicken cause so much trouble on a region??? I really need to know this, cause I'm pretty sad about this, I always wanted chickens on my land, pfff...

That is not us!!!!!!!

My husband and I own quiet a big parcel of land we call our home, first part of our land is private, it's the part with my castle and his yacht and we have a security system there. The other part of our land are woods, a river, the stables with horses, the cave, the deer, the wolf and our camping place. That part has no security system because we think it should be available to all residents. That part of our land is pure nature and very pretty to be on. But no one ever comes. Untill yesterday... I logged on and my homespot is the castle, when I log on I always take some time with my camera to overlook our land and ofcourse neighbours (I'm kinda curious what people do on their lands, lol), so when I looked our woods I spotted these two, they were using our campfire, trying out the hammock and finally ended up in our tent Rofl.
I did go over there to welcome them, but GRRR.... they were portuguese, so I used my translater but too bad, they didn't have one, anyways I told them they are very welcome to look around and use our stuff. He said something to me but hell I didn't understand shitt GRRR. Anyways, I think they had fun cause they did stay a while in the woods;-)

What does a girl do on a Friday night? Well, go out I guess, so did I, to Toby's, to Sanctuary Rock and so on... When I go out SL or RL I always try to look my best but OMG... I am not judging people here, but some ... I don't know, I don't get this LOOOOL. But everyone does what he wants right?;-)

He left..

Saying goodbye is always so hard to do. I thought I got used to it but nooooo... I know him for almost 2 and a half years now in SL. Every year he goes on vacation in RL, first year he travelled Scandinavia for a month, o man... that was hard, I missed him like hell and heaven together. Last year he went to France for 3 weeks, again so hard... Yesterday he left for France again, now 2 weeks and a half but still... saying goodbye to him hurts.. even fysically, very strange. I think, no I'm sure I love this man very very much even we have never met in RL... Some people I know RL don't understand this. They don't understand you can actually fall in love with somebody you have never met in RL. Well I don't care what they think, I know how he looks and sounds, I spend all my nights and sometimes weekends with him since 2 years and half. I guess I know him pretty well and so does he me.
But last night we talked about meeting RL, we both think it's time, we both are scared to death, but it's something we have to do to go on in SL and RL. We need to know... if you know what I mean;-)
Anyways.. he left... and I miss him, again so much... But I have a little hope, he told me the place they go to got internet, else he wouldn't have gone... so maybe I get to see him after all... I hope..

Wow, today the Dell guy came to fix my notebook, he did real well. Totally new graphic card in it (hmm, broken after one year sl??), but when he left I still got some issues. My notebook comes with a qwerty keyboard so a year ago I bought a external azerty (Belgium) keyboard and external mouse, cause I hate mousepads, I just can't work with it grrr.
So the Dell guy left, I connected my external keyboard and mouse, hmm... don't work, ok I phone my man, he says ok give me the name of the stuff so I can look internet cause I guess you need drivers for it.
At that point we were typing in SL... but o man... I was looking the keyboard while I was typing because its a qwerty keyboard...
We logged off... and I was thinking... that hurts for me big time lol. When I was typing in SL on the qwerty I made typo's, I was wondering and then it hit me, the Dell guy converted the notebook keyboard to azerty. F**k I am so Stupid looool. So now I'm on my notebook keyboard lol pfff...
But mouse hmm... what about the external mouse??? Hmmmm... thinking... thinking...hmm, maybe I plug it into another usb portal?? I can try can't I??
What the hell!!!!! It works!!!!

Getting used to the notebook keyboard now but I am totally back:-))) So now I can say goodbye to my husband in SL (he is going on vacation in Rl for 2 weeks), in a proper way:-))
Thank god for Dell support and my stupidity LOOOOL

Exhibition

Seems like Marnix did create a monster with his tastefull naked butt challenge, many have posted really nice naked butts pics on their blog. The monster got so big Marnix and Tymmerie decided to exhibit the photos in-world. I can't wait to see that one;-)
They have asked everyone permission to use the photos and I said yes! So wanna see some really nice butts including mine (lol), stay tuned.. More info on the exhibition will follow:-)
